Satirical print by Charles Jameson Grant captioned 'The Star of Brunswick arrayed for an Aerial Trip; or The Ambitious Duke' showing the infamous William, His Serene Highness the Duke of Brunswick preparing for a trip in a balloon as the guest of the Margaret Graham 'The Only English female Aeronaut' (whose original flight was from White Conduit Gardens, Pentonville). The Duke's premature alighting caused Mrs Graham, mother of 7 and pregnant, to be thrown out. She was badly injured and her child was stillborn, but her silk dress acting as a parachute saved her life.
