Scrapbook volume 1 covers the Preface, Chapters I (General Historical View) & II (Walk the First) of Thomas Cromwell's book "Walks Through Islington". Each page of Cromwell's book is inserted (in most cases) between the pages of the scrapbook that contains various newspaper cuttings, illustrations, maps etc. with some that relate directly to the information included on the inserted page.
