Most of the article is a presented as a conversation between Lloyd Young, Marc Thompson, Dennis Carney and Ain Bailey, covering their experiences at Pride and how the first organised space for Black LGBT+ people at Pride came about in 1992 with the People of Colour tent at the post-march festival/party in Brockwell Park, and how this paved the way for UK Black Pride, an annual event since 1977.
