Publicity leaflet for Bloolips' ("the world's best and only gay music hall clown troupe") production "The Island of Lost Shoes" 31st October - 2nd December at the Drill Hall, Chenies Street, WC1. Bloolips was founded by Bette Bourne (born Peter Boune) in 1977 as a gay theatre/performance art group. It used and developed a type of male drag or 'gender-bending' cross-dressing that grew out of the cross-dressing developed by drag gay within the London Gay Liberation Front in the early 1970's. The company ceased performing in the early 2000's.
