A4 sheet, one side, black on white, including black and white photo. Printout on an A4 sheet of a ticket for an event hosted by Sean McGovern (Project Manager for Islington's Pride project): "North, South, East and West: Wherever You Live Gay is Best" with a panel of speakers featuring former GLF members who lived in the gay and lesbian communes established in the early 1970's in London, including Ted Brown, Ian Townson, Andrew Lumsden, Stuart Feather and Nettie Pollard, (see a separate item in the collection). The event was part of the "GLF at 50: The Art of Protest" programme that ran from September to January 2022, at the newly restored Unitarian Meeting House on Newington Green, N16. 'GLF' is an abbreviation for Gay Liberation Front: the LGBTQ+ liberation movement that originated in the USA in 1969, with the London GLF set up in 1970 (see other items in the collection).
