Paul Thurlow was a volunteer on the Islington's Pride LGBTQ+ archives project at the Islington Local History Centre and later became a volunteer with the Islington Local History Centre. He is a long-term resident of Islington and an active member of the LGBTQ+ community having volunteered with many organisations including Gay Switchboard. He also actively participated in many events and activities.

A5 leaflet, one side, black and blue on white. Leaflet publicising the annual Service and Candlelight Memorial for everyone affected by HIV and AIDS. The service taking place at St Martin-in-the-Fields church on Trafalgar Square and the candlelight memorial and reading of names at Trafalgar Square held on 19 May 1991.
