Creator history
Paul Thurlow was a volunteer on the Islington's Pride LGBTQ+ archives project at the Islington Local History Centre and later became a volunteer with the Islington Local History Centre. He is a long-term resident of Islington and an active member of the LGBTQ+ community having volunteered with many organisations including Gay Switchboard. He also actively participated in many events and activities.

Scope and Content
28-page, A4 booklet, black on white, with black on pink cover. Souvenir programme for a gala production of Martin Sherman's play 'Bent', performed to raise funds for the newly-established Stonewall Group and The Iris Trust (intended to be Stonewall's charitable arm). The two main characters were played by Ian McKellen (who was in the original 1979 London production) and Michael Cashman. Other members of the cast included Alex Jennings, Ben Daniels, Ian Charleson, Nathaniel Parker, Ralph Fiennes, and Richard E. Grant. It includes adverts for Capital Gay newspaper, The Pink Paper, the London Lesbian and Gay Centre, the London Lighthouse, and an article about the play including an interview with it's author, Martin Sherman.
