Speakers listed: Margaret Michie of the NUJ Equality Council, Femi Otitoju of the Haringey Lesbian and Gay Unit, Linda Semple of the Gay's the Word Defence Campaign, Councillor Vince Gillespie (Haringey Council), Karen Briscoe of the Civil and Public Servants Association, to be chaired by Sarah Roelofs of the Labour Party London Regional executive.
States that this is the first ever public meeting organised by one of the main political parties on lesbian and gay rights, and refers to the resolutions passed at both the Labour Party and TUC (|Trade Union Congress) conferences in 1985.
