Creator history
Paul Thurlow was a volunteer on the Islington's Pride LGBTQ+ archives project at the Islington Local History Centre and later became a volunteer with the Islington Local History Centre. He is a long-term resident of Islington and an active member of the LGBTQ+ community having volunteered with many organisations including Gay Switchboard. He also actively participated in many events and activities.

Scope and Content
One side of A4 sheet, black on pink. Flyer produced by Gays and Lesbians Against Apartheid, Imperialism and Racism (GLAIR: c/o 274 Upper Street, N1) "a new group of lesbians and gays opposing racism, fascism and state violence", to publicise the group and advertise their next meeting on 19th June. Includes short paragraphs on campaigns they were supporting at the time, including action against Gay Men's Press distributing their books in South Africa.
