Scope and Content
A4 sheet, black on white; photocopy of article from Capital Gay. The article reports that the publisher Gay Men's Press (GMP) had signed a deal to have their books distributed in South Africa; it includes a quote from the Anti-Apartheid Movement expressing their opposition. At the time there was an international cultural boycott of South Africa which was ruled by a minority white regime. Includes the names of two of the GMP directors, David Fernbach and Richard Dipple. Also incudes a reference to the other gay publisher at the time, Brilliance Books.
