  • Scope and Content
A4 sheet, one side, black on white. Leaflet written by the Gay Black Group and handed out at the Mutations disco at The Bell on 23rd March 1984. Gives details of three incidents at Mutations on 16th March involving racist and fascist abuse, harassment and assault on members of the Gay Black Group and another black gay man. Argues that the way forward is not to expect staff on the door to be better at vetting people coming in, but that when racist incidents occur, the music should be stopped and the perpetrators told to leave and everyone present should lend support in removing them. Item includes descriptions of discriminatory behaviour.
