Includes "It's Only a Phase..." by Paul Thurlow, Secretary of the Gay Youth Movement (GYM, later the Lesbian and Gay Youth Movement, LGYM) which includes quotes from young lesbians and gay men taken from "I Know What I Am - Gay Teenagers and the Law" (Joint Council for Gay Teenagers, 1980, which is elsewhere in the collection) and gives a list of urgent changes to be implemented in schools. Other chapters include "The London Young Lesbian Group" by youth workers Jane Dixon and Gilly Salvat, and "Gay Rights and the ILEA/GLC" by Deidre Woods, then a GLC (Greater London Council) and ILEA (Inner London Education Authority) member and chair of the ILEA Staff Committee.
