Creator history
Paul Thurlow was a volunteer on the Islington's Pride LGBTQ+ archives project at the Islington Local History Centre and later became a volunteer with the Islington Local History Centre. He is a long-term resident of Islington and an active member of the LGBTQ+ community having volunteered with many organisations including Gay Switchboard. He also actively participated in many events and activities.

Note from Geoff Hardy of the Gay Teachers' Group (GTG) to Paul Thurlow of the Gay Youth Movement (GYM) requesting an article for Socialist Teacher journal, following the presentation and discussion on "Curriculum needs as seen by young lesbians and gays" at the Gay Teachers' Group (GTG) conference "Homosexuality in the Curriculum" held on Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th November in Westbourne Grove, London W11. Includes pencil notes by Paul Thurlow on ideas to be included.
