  • Scope and Content
One page, A4 note written by Ian Dunn, a leading member of the Scottish Homosexual Rights Group (SHRG) and the Labour campaign for Gay Rights (LCGR) to Paul Thurlow of the Gay Youth Movement (GYM) setting out why Peter Tatchell should 'come out' and be open about being gay, which he had not been doing during recent press coverage. The Labour Party National Executive Committee had refused to endorse Peter Tatchell as the Labour Party candidate for Bermondsey (the Northern-most parliamentary constituency in Southwark), and when pressed he refused to say whether he was a gay man or not, a position he said had been agreed with his local party.
