    A4, 16 pages, yellow and black on white. Edition of 'The Mancunian Gay' journal. Includes a two-page article (pages 12 and 13) about the Labour Campaign for Gay Rights ( LCGR) fringe meeting held on 28th September in the Clifton Hotel in Blackpool during the 1982 Labour Party Conference. The cover is a photo of Paul Thurlow of the Gay Youth Movement (GYM) speaking at the meeting. with the caption "Gay Youth Speak Out". Anger over recent homophobic coverage of Peter Tatchell and others resulted in journalists from some newspapers being ejected from the meeting by the Chair, John Shires. Article includes commentary on the speeches made by Tony Benn MP, Jo Richardson MP, Joan Lester MP, Peter Tatchell (Secretary of Bermondsey Labour Party) and Ken Livingstone (Leader of the Greater London Council). Jay McLaren and Paul Thurlow of the Gay Youth Movement also spoke at the meeting "about how the law restricted the lives of all young gay people, and denied them the right to define their own sexuality".
