Article about the meeting held on 28th September in the Clifton Hotel in Blackpool during the 1982 Labour Party Conference, organised by the Labour Campaign for Gay Rights (LCGR). Anger over recent homophobic coverage of Peter Tatchell and others resulted in journalists from some newspapers being ejected from the meeting. States that Jo Richardson MP, Joan Lester MP, Peter Tatchell and Ken Livingstone (Leader of the Greater London Council) were due to speak at the meeting. LCGR is now 'LGBT+ Labour'.
