    Paul Thurlow was a volunteer on the Islington's Pride LGBTQ+ archives project at the Islington Local History Centre and later became a volunteer with the Islington Local History Centre. He is a long-term resident of Islington and an active member of the LGBTQ+ community having volunteered with many organisations including Gay Switchboard. He also actively participated in many events and activities.

    Sheet of 24 round stickers. Pink triangle on black background with the words "GAY 16 OK". Produced by the Labour Campaign for Gay Rights for the 1982 Labour Party conference held 27th September to 1st October 1982 in Blackpool. Produced as part of the LCGR campaign to persuade the Labour Party to adopt a policy of supporting equalisation of the criminal age of consent for sex between men (then 21 years old) with the heterosexual age of consent of 16 years old. LCGR is now 'LGBT+ Labour'.
