Paul Thurlow was a volunteer on the Islington's Pride LGBTQ+ archives project at the Islington Local History Centre and later became a volunteer with the Islington Local History Centre. He is a long-term resident of Islington and an active member of the LGBTQ+ community having volunteered with many organisations including Gay Switchboard. He also actively participated in many events and activities.

Newspaper cutting of a very short news item on the French National Assembly amending the law to lower the "gay age of consent" for sex from 18 to 15 years old, so making it the same as the age of consent for heterosexuals. Article adhered to A4 paper along with 3 other articles.
