Bennett Court - completed July 1950 (first stage). Early post war social housing estate of 66 flats between Axminster and Salterton Roads, by E.C.P. Monson Architects and Allen Fairhead & Sons Ltd Contractors, Sydney Road, Enfield. Named after 'Pa Bennett' Councillor George Bennett, Mayor 1944-5, a well-known member of North Islington Labour Party. These photographs are mounted on separate boards
