Photographs of Wakelin House, consisting of 109 flats, on Sebbon Road completed in 1934 was designed by E.C.P. Monson (1872-1941) as one of the earliest social housing blocks of self-contained flats. In 1923 Monson had also designed the Neo-Classical Islington Town Hall.
