  • Scope and Content
Seven letters and one envelope sent from Lilian Baylis to Mr Will Kirrage (spelt Kirridge and Kerridge in the letters) from March 9th 1935 to February 11th 1937. Some letters are hand-written, others typed with additional words added by hand. All letters are to thank Mr Kirrage and his wife for the supply of fresh eggs. Occasional letters hint to them coming to see a show courtesy of Miss Baylis. The file contains letters received by Will Kirrage sent to Islington by Mrs I Humphries after his death. A letter from her explains that he was a good friend of Miss Baylis and would want the letters kept with other things related to her.
