Scope and ContentLetter to Islington Chief Librarian and Curator from Mr Reneteau, the nephew of Florence Pash dated 23 may 1952. Included with the letter was a brief history about his aunt, and a photocopy of the letter from the Executor of Florence Pash’s estate to her nephew Mr Reneteau, regarding the possible sale of some of her items concerning W.R. Sickert. The list itemises the 'Whirlwind’ pictures done by Sickert in 1890 and other publications of Sickert’s work. Also included is a letter from the Chief Librarian in response, dated 27th May 1952. The items were subsequently donated(?) to Islington Council (see Photographs, Reproductions & Publications of artwork: Whirlwind magazine, Vanity Fair etc - S/SFC/1/9/1).Other items that are included from the original list are: Letter to Florence Pash from Walter Sickert in pen, not dated, but noted in pencil as from around 1896; Two photographs of Sickert's paintings of 'Miss Beerbohm' and 'Charles Bradlaugh' dated 1890; Photographic plate negative.
