Correspondence relating to Cicely Hey being interviewed about Sickert for a BBC radio programme ‘Walter Sickert 1860-1942: Sketch for a Portrait’ complied and narrated by Basil Taylor. Recorded 16 September 1960, transmitted 10 February 1961. The recordings were subsequently used in the programme ‘Aspects of Walter Sickert II: Reflections in the Mirror’, by Cicely Hey, transmitted 14 November 1966 and 1967 (and possibly other times). Papers include the contracts and payment records for the broadcasts and letters from the producer Leonie Cohn asking permission to re-use the recordings for the latter programme.
