Issues of the Old Vic and Sadler’s Wells Magazine from 1931 to 1939. The Old Vic Magazine was the official newsletter of the Old Vic Theatre and was first published in January 1931. It was a continuation from the Old Vic Magazine with similar content and was a similar style of publication. Various articles about the theatres were included such as about its performances, about artists and staff, about the history of the theatres, about fundraising efforts, and general articles about ballet, opera, drama and music. It included articles from artists, staff, management (including Lilian Baylis), and various others.
