Truncheon from St Mary's Parish, Islington, 19th century.

Made of wood. Dark wood painted black, decorated with crown/red cross and flower with a fine ribbed handle. Inscribed with 'St. M.I.' (St. Mary’s Islington) over a cartouche containing the numbers '132'.
