Artificial Stone Colonette, early 19th Century

Two sections of fluted shaft of a colonette of Roman cement, probably from an early 19th century terraced house in Barnsbury, Clerkenwell or King's Cross. Found in earth and rubble fill, apparently from a building site, that was deposited in the Ice Wells at 12/13 New Wharf Road in the 1950s.
