Cream bakelite telephone with cream cord and box, inscribed on silver plaque: THIS INSTRUMENT WAS USED BY/HIS WORSHIP THE MAYOR OF ISLINGTON/(COUNCILLOR H.G.COLEMAN, J.P)/TO MAKE THE FIRST CALL FROM NORTH AUTOMATIC EXCHANGE/20TH JUNE 1935 14.3.2017 - Presumed asbestos white bakelite phone. Kadec labelled on the 14th March 2017. Manage to minimise disturbance.
