Correspondence with and relating to funding bodies which supported Sadler's Wells. These are the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust (which was the largest funder of the rebuilding of the theatre in 1931 and provided additional support during the early years of the theatre), the Council for the Encouragement of Arts (CEMA), the Arts Council and the British Council.
