Souvenir programme for a gala production of Martin Sherman's play 'Bent', performed to raise funds for the newly-established Stonewall Group and The Iris Trust (intended to be Stonewall's charitable arm). The two main characters were played by Ian McKellen (who was in the original 1979 London production) and Michael Cashman. Other members of the cast included Alex Jennings, Ben Daniels, Ian Charleson, Nathaniel Parker, Ralph Fiennes, and Richard E. Grant. It includes adverts for Capital Gay newspaper, The Pink Paper, the London Lesbian and Gay Centre, the London Lighthouse, and an article about the play including an interview with it's author, Martin Sherman.
