A5 sheet, black and red on white. Leaflet publicising the existence of the trust set up to commemorate Mark Ashton (1960-1987), who had been a leading member of Lesbians and Gay Men Support the Miners (LGSM), who died of AIDS in February 1987. The Trust raised funds for "the care of people with AIDS and AIDS related complexes". He was a volunteer at London Gay Switchboard (Switchboard) and General Secretary of the Young Communist League. LGSM was set up in London in July 1984 and raised funds to support miners and their families in Dulais in South Wales during the miners' strike of 1984-5. Their story formed the basis of the 2014 film Pride, and the 2017 book of the same name written by Tim Tate and published by John Blake Books.
