Article on Peter Tatchell's speech to the South Bank Polytechnic Gay Society on 'Gays and Socialism' on 29th March 1982 where he refused to answer a question about his own sexuality, and replied that he was "a supporter of gay rights", and that Bermondsey Labour Party had agreed that this was how he should answer any questions about his sexuality. He also criticised the Labour Party for still having no firm commitment to gay rights.
