Thousands of revellers descended upon Caledonian Road on Sunday to soak up the sun at the Cally Festival.

From The Blues Brothers and Bollywood dancing, to street art, martial arts and rap, Islington’s biggest street party returned for a seventh year, boasting something for everybody.
There was no doubt which part of the festival seven-year-old Rana Naser thought was the biggest hit as she stepped in the ring with coaches from Times Boxing Club for a knockout training session.
There was a wide range of live music from up-and-coming and established artists, keeping the party pumping throughout the afternoon.
Emma Ballantine, who recently hit number one in the iTunes singer songwriter charts with her EP Somebody’s Story, shared her sound with the doting crowd.
The Voice semi-finalist from 2012, Ruth Brown, also took to the stage to show her support for Key Changes, a charity that helps people with mental health problems. She brought the festival to a standstill as she performed I Will Always Love You, a song made famous by Whitney Houston.
The festival is supported and funded each year by local businesses and organisations from around the Caledonian Road area.
