Abstract
People gathered at the Town Hall on Monday evening to celebrate Eid al-Adha, the “Sacrifice Feast” celebrated by Muslims across the globe.
The event, organised by Holloway councillor Rakhia Ismail and hosted by Islington mayor Kat Fletcher at her parlour, was attended by leading councillors and representatives of all faiths, pictured.
Cllr Ismail said: “Eid represents unity, families coming together and looking after the poor.”
