Brief history of Bevin Court, Cruikshank Street, Islington. It was designed by Berthold Lubetkin and opened in 1954. The foyer area of the flats contains a mural by artist Peter Yates titled 'Day and Night' and once contained showcased a bust of politician Ernest Bevin, after whom the block is named
