Abstract
COMMERCIAL properties in Old Street will be refurbished as part of a £16million council project that will see 55 new homes built on the Redbrick estate, 39 of which will be for social rent.The Town Hall executive is expected to approve the development at 69-85 Old Street next week. The new homes will be built on three sites across the estate.The development, with work expected to start in November, will convert part of the basement and ground floors of the council-owned retail units into homes.
