DESPITE months of warning notices and Tannoy announcements, it seems not everyone got the message that Tufnell Park Tube station was to close for nine months on Monday.A delivery driver on Tuesday dropped off piles of a weekly free magazine, which were left to blow in the wind in the absence of any commuters to grab them.The decision to shut the station while the two 40-year-old lifts are replaced has led to a raft of objections, with many asking why both lifts had to be replaced at once.
