Among those leading tributes will be former colleague Dot Gibson, secretary of the National Pensioners Convention, former Unison leader Rodney Bickerstaff and Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn. Joe, who lived at Milner Place, Angel, was a founder member of Islington Pensioners Forum, and later became general secretary of the National Pensioners Convention from 2001 until 2009.
