Emily Thornberry held the Islington South and Finsbury constituency and increased her majority by a whopping 9,139 by taking 51 per cent of the vote – up from 42 per cent five years ago. And Labour veteran Jeremy Corbyn is set to start his eighth term as MP for Islington North after almost doubling his majority to 21,194 and taking 60 per cent of the vote
