Abstract
Established in 1815 for Scottish children orphaned in the Napoleonic Wars, later for the poor or orphaned offspring of 'indigent and deserving Scotch parents resident in London'. Moved out to Bushey in 1902 and flats were built on the site (just North of Pentonville Prison)
