Abstract
Highbury College, a dissenting academy built in 1826. In 1913 it rented the sports ground to Woolwich Arsenal Football Club who changed the name to Arsenal and in 1925 took over the whole etsate, leasing back the buildings to the College.
The college building was destroyed by fire in 1946.
