Benjamin Britten (1913-76) at the piano with tenor Peter Pears (1910-86) who lived together at 99 Offord Road 1966-70 and from then until Lord Britten's death in 1976 at 8 Halliford Street, where in 1985 Sir Peter unveiled a plaque to him.
