William Henry (Harry) Martin, Labour Mayor of Finsbury 1929-30 where he was born, before moving West and becoming an active Trade Union organiser for the National Union of General and Municipal Workers, also working on behalf of the unemployed. Chairman of Finsbury Labour Party and member of London County Council 1925.
