Abstract

Sir William John Crump (1850-1923) was the first Mayor of Islington in 1900, re-elected 1901, knighted 1902. A solicitor, Justice of the Peace, Freemason and active in obtaining open spaces for the people of Hornsey. Lived at Killdrop Road and later Hornsey Lane.
