- NotesSigned F.Gardon. According to Willats, Felix Gardon lived in Islington from 1904 and died at 13 Highbury Grange in September 1946. He studied in Paris in the late 19th century and exhibited there throughout his life and with the Royal Society of British Artists in 1939. An uncatalogued painting of the view from his window in 1938 is on loan to Islington Town Hall
