Abstract
Group of people enjoying refreshments outside the ruins of the old stone conduit in the grounds of White Conduit House (from which it took its name) built over leaden pipe water supply to Charterhouse (bearing the date 1641 with the initials of Thomas Sutton, its founder). The building was removed 1834 (or earlier) and used to repair part of the New Road.
