Abstract
Busy street scene (including cattle) at the Angel before New Road (later Pentonville) became a major transport hub and the coaching inn was demolished (1819). Recalled by the artist who also identifies The Goose farmhouse with its barns and the house of Mr Love, the corn chandler.
