Abstract

Street scene outside Palladian factory built around 1812 and taken over by Samuel Ridley in 1829 for floor coverings and in 1893 for Probyn's bottled beer depot (later Islington Planning Department, now flats). Ridley's bow-fronted Regency villa can just be seen beyond.
