Ivy Houses or Cottage was located at the corner of Terrett's Court (later Terrett's Place), Upper Street, Islington. It had seen a variety of trades, including a jeweller for 40 years. In the 18th Century, it became overgrown with ivy and was the home of coal merchant and churchwarden James Cross. Cross's wife was the first person to be baptised in the rebuilt (1754) St Mary's Parish Church. The cottage was demolished on 14 June 1847
