Caption on the back of the mount to which the picture is stuck refers to the rebus later being over the door of the small octagonal house at (4) Alwynne Villas.

Rebus (a visual play on words - crossbow bolt passing through a barrel or tun) of William Bolton Prior of St Bartholomew's Priory in Smithfield used in his summer retreat at Canonbury.
