Abstract

Seven engravings of the exterior and main rooms of the building with 15 portrait heads of associated bishops and clergy. The Church Missionary Society (CMS) College opened on Upper Street in 1826 for “the education and preparation of missionary students for missionary labours” and closed in 1915 (Sutton Dwellings now occupy the site). This print looks as if it commemorates the building and its staff around the time of its closure.
